Teenager leaves hospital after forklift accident

A teenager who suffered a punctured lung after being crushed by a falling forklift truck has been released from hospital.

The 16-year-old also suffered cracked ribs after the vehicle he was travelling in tipped over while reversing into ironmongers Austin Walmsley on the Leachfield Industrial Estate in Garstang, near Preston.

He was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment after the accident at work last month.
