No Win No Fee Advice
Accidents never seem to happen at good times and they often lead to many financial hardships. In response to this, there are many solicitors who have adopted what is called a no win no fee advice policy. This policy has been a literal lifesaver for many people who have found themselves injured but lack the means to pursue legal action through the traditional means of paying fees for services as they are rendered.
What is No Win No Fee?
No win no fee advice is literally an agreement with the solicitors that you will not be charged a fee for their services no matter what the result of the case. This ensures that the claimant's solicitor will do everything possible to win a case, otherwise his firm will not receive any fees from the courts and insurance companies of the individual/organisation responsible for the accident.
If you win and have a no win no fee agreement with your solicitor it is possible that some if not all of your solicitor's fees could be covered as part of the award. This is a fairly common practice and would be awarded by the court. Any expenses or fees in addition to your solicitor's fees will come out of the compensation awarded by the court if the court doesn't order your opponent to cover your solicitor's expenses.
It is a rare occasion indeed that someone injured in an accident has enough money saved to handle the costs involved in legal actions out of pocket. For this reason the no win no fee advice option that many solicitors offer is the option of choice for many who have been injured and are not certain of their options. It is in your best interest to at the very least check out the options that are available to you.
You should note that no win no fee advice is generally only available for personal injury cases and not cases that involve criminal or family law. It is however an agreement worth considering if you need legal representation but lack the monetary means required in order to receive that representation.
